Collection: Celtic Jewelry

Celtic art in the Middle Ages was practiced by the people of Ireland in the 700 year period from the 5th to 12th centuries.  With these symbols there is a common theme of love, loyalty, strength, unity and religious belief.  Many Celtic symbols have three intertwined parts that represent the belief that everything of significance is in three parts.
The Trinity Knot first appears as a pagan design used by the Celts.  It was later adopted and repurposed as a symbol of the Holy Trinity by early Irish Christians.
